Good to know before you visit
A few answers to what families ask us most.
Does this replace my doctor's ultrasounds?
No. Our sessions are elective, non-diagnostic keepsake scans. They are a lovely addition to your prenatal care and never a replacement for it. Please keep every appointment with your provider.
When is the best time to come in?
For a heartbeat visit, 6 to 13 weeks. For gender, 14 weeks and up. For 3D and 4D, 24 to 32 weeks is the sweet spot, when baby has filled out but still has room to move. Our week guide on the home page will suggest a session for you.
How should I prepare?
Drink plenty of water for a few days before your visit, which helps give clearer images. Have a light snack about an hour before so baby is awake and active. Wear a comfortable two-piece outfit so we can reach your belly easily.
Who can come with me?
Anyone you like, within the room's seating. Partners, grandparents, best friends and big siblings are all welcome. Children should be supervised by another adult during the scan.
What if baby won't show their face?
It happens. We try a few gentle tricks like a short walk or a change of position. If we still cannot get a clear view, our Shy Baby Promise brings you back for a free rescan.
How do I get my images and video?
Your digital gallery is sent to your phone during or right after your session. Printed images go home with you in a keepsake folder.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, in any amount. We can email one straight to the parents-to-be or wrap a physical card for you to pick up.
